Delicious Party Dip

Although this chocolate chip fluff dip is perfect for a party, there’s no reason to ignore it when you and the family are hanging out. After all, when two or more are gathered … you can call it whatever you want, including a party.

I love apples, grapes, and any kind of cookie. And this chocolate chip fluff dip makes them even better.

My granddaughters are great eaters, so we’ve never had to coax them to try something new and different. But put this in front of them, and their eyes totally light up. Yes, they love this delicious dip … a lot!

But it’s not just kids who love this sweet dip. In fact, you’ll have to ask the adults to leave some for the younger ones.

There are a couple of things that make this so good. First, it’s sweet but not so much so that it overpowers whatever you’re dipping.

Secondly, it’s light and fluffy (as the name implies), so it doesn’t make you feel stuffed after you eat it.

So for those who like to dip, this delightful dessert dip will make them very happy!

Chocolate Chip Fluff Dip Ingredients

There are quite a few different ways to make this dip, but this is my favorite. This super easy recipe turns out a delicious treat that I’m sure you’ll love.

Here are the ingredients you’ll need:

  • 7 ounces of marshmallow fluff
  • 8 ounces of softened cream cheese
  • 4 ounces of whipped topping (1/2 of a small tub)
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips (mini chips are the best for this recipe)
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar

If you want to add other ingredients for flavor or aesthetics, go right ahead. Some things that you might want to try include chopped cherries, vanilla, or even other extract flavors.

You can use either name brand or generic ingredients. I’ve made it with both, and I can’t tell the difference.

I’ve placed a printable recipe card at the bottom of this post, so if you just want the ingredients list and directions, please feel free to scroll down now. However, you might enjoy some of the photos I added that show each step of the process.

How to Make Chocolate Chip Fluff Dip

This is one of the easiest things you can make for the snack table. It also has one of the biggest payoffs in smiles and compliments.

First, put all of the ingredients in a medium-size bowl. Now stir it, making sure everything is well mixed.

You can stir it manually or use a hand mixer.

I used a spoon because I wasn’t in the mood to clean my hand mixer.

It’s really important to do a good job with mixing. Otherwise, you’ll wind up with pockets of cream cheese or whipped topping. Although they’re both delicious, they’re even better when combined.

Finally, put the mixture in a serving bowl. Place the bowl on the snack table.

Then step to the side so everyone can get a taste of the deliciousness in the dip. Make sure you have plenty for everyone, as well enough fruit and cookies.

If you want to garnish this fluff dip, simply sprinkle a few chocolate chips over the top.

Or if you want to add color, add a few chopped maraschino cherries.

It’s that easy. In fact, this and a couple of other super easy treats will make you seem like a hero in the kitchen.

You can serve it with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, and fruit slices.

The simple, 2-step process of this recipe makes it a favorite around here. Hosting get-togethers can be stressful if you have to follow complicated recipes.

This is totally uncomplicated and very straightforward. No special culinary skills are required.
