Creamy Ranch Pork Chops

Easy Crock Pot Pork Chops Recipe

These creamy ranch pork chops are delicious and easy to make in the slow cooker. They’re a real game changer when it’s time to cook a family dinner. I typically serve them with rice, but they’re also good with noodles or mashed potatoes.

This is seriously one of the easiest meals I make, and the payoff is amazing. You basically just dump everything into the Crock Pot and turn it on low. Then it does all the work for you while you go about your day.

Or if you forgot to start the slow cooker in the morning, you can still make it. Just turn it on high in the afternoon. The aroma is pretty wonderful. But once you take a bite, you’ll wonder where this food has been all your life.

Ingredients

You only need a few ingredients for this pork chop dinner. Of course, you’ll need pork chops. I used 1/2-inch thick boneless pork chops, but you can use any kind you like.

You’ll also need a can of your favorite cream soup and a packet of ranch dressing mix. I added a little bit of water so the gravy wouldn’t be so thick.

Pork chops, ranch mix, and cream of chicken soup

Since I have to be gluten-free, I purchased the only gluten-free soup I could find—cream of chicken. The flavor was amazing. I think cream of celery soup or cream of mushroom soup would be delicious.

Walmart has cream of mushroom in their gluten-free section. But I’m still looking for gluten-free cream of celery.

Easy Step-by-Step Instructions

I always spray the slow cooker pot with nonstick cooking spray because I don’t like scrubbing. The spray makes it so much easier to clean.

Layer the pork chops next. Since I was using a small slow cooker, I overlapped them a bit. I wasn’t sure if they’d turn out since they weren’t laid out in a single layer. But I’m happy to say they came out delicious!

Then pour the entire can of soup over the pork chops. Next, spread the soup over the pork chops.

The soup cooks into the pork chops and makes a delicious gravy that you’ll love over rice or mashed potatoes.

Soup poured over the pork chops

Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix over the soup. As the pork chops cook, the powdered mix will sink into the soup, so you don’t have to stir it.

Finally, pour a little water over the mixture. However, if you want super thick gravy, you can skip this step.

You don’t need to add any salt because the soup and the ranch mix have enough. If you add some, you might find it too salty.

You can try adding other seasonings. As I tasted it, I thought it might be good with a little bit of basil or even an Italian seasoning blend.

Serve this with onion seasoned rice, potatoes, or noodles and roasted vegetables. It is absolutely delicious!

Easy Crock Pot Cooking

I’m a big fan of using my slow cooker, especially during the week when life is too hectic to worry about dinner. Another family favorite recipe at my house is the lemon pepper chicken. It’s loaded with flavor and is wonderful with any sides.
