Tools You’ll Need to Make Roasted Parmesan Carrots
Gather all of your ingredients to make sure you have everything. You’ll also need a bowl, a knife, a cutting board, a spoon for stirring, a baking sheet, and some parchment paper.
If you’re grating your own cheese, you’ll need a cheese grater or food processor with a grating attachment.
How to Make Roasted Parmesan Carrots
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Slice all of the carrots lengthwise into uniform carrot sticks. I used baby carrots, but you can use the regular size carrots and cut them into thirds.
Put the carrots in the bowl and add the olive oil, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme. Toss the ingredients until the carrots are well coated.
Pour the carrots out onto the parchment paper lined baking sheet and spread them into a single layer. Bake for 15 minutes.
Pull them out of the oven and sprinkle the shredded or grated parmesan cheese over the top. Gently toss to coat the carrots with the cheese.
Garnish with parsley flakes. Serve hot.
