This taco dip is the perfect addition to any snack table. Whether you’re hosting a party or enjoying a night in, everyone will love this delicious treat.
The Perfect Party Dip
There are quite a few ways to make taco dip, and some of them are fairly complicated. However, you can make it the easy way like I do.
In fact, I’m always looking for shortcuts and ways to simplify cooking. Although I enjoy cooking, I don’t want to stand in the kitchen all day.
I also don’t enjoy cleaning up a huge mess. That’s one reason this is the perfect snack because there’s very little cleanup.
Serve taco dip on a snack table alongside a bowl of these ranch nuts. Another delicious addition is this yummy spinach dip that’s also easy to make.
Taco Dip Ingredients
You only need three things to make this dip. I used equal amounts of sour cream and cream cheese as well as a pack of taco seasoning.
If you want to make it pretty or even fancy, add some toppings. The ones I used are jalapeno slices, black olives, and cheese.
Right before I served it, I added some chopped tomatoes simply because I like them. You can also add salsa, bacon bits, or anything that you think would be good.

How to Make Taco Dip
This taco dip is so easy to make you might feel guilty about it. Or not.
Actually, I never feel guilty when I make something easy. In fact, I’m usually so happy that I can’t wait to share it with others.
First, mix the sour cream and softened cream cheese. It takes a little while, but I always start by smushing the cream cheese with a fork. Then I stir with a spoon.
After you get all (or most) of the lumps out, pour in the packet of taco seasoning. Stir until it’s well mixed.
For presentation, put it in a serving bowl. I like using a clear bowl for this because I think it shows the dip off better.
Finally, sprinkle your toppings over the dip and serve it with chips. Don’t be surprised if this dip disappears in five minutes!
