Everything Bagel Recipes

After making my own homemade 2-ingredient bagels and using this seasoning, I decided it was something I needed to add to other foods. It’s that delicious!

Another delicious treat you’ll want to include is this everything bagel cheese log from Julia’s Simply Southern. Enjoy it with crackers or bread.

We also love this everything bagel chicken. It not only adds more flavor to the meat, but it also gives you a nice, crunchy texture.

Everything Bagel Dip Ingredients

You don’t need much to make this yummy dip. In fact, you’re likely to have most, if not all, of the ingredients in your pantry and fridge.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Sour cream (either regular or low fat)
  • Softened cream cheese (either regular or low fat)
  • French dressing (any style—California or creamy)
  • Everything bagel seasoning

For exact measurements of each ingredient and full directions, go to the recipe card at the bottom of the page. You can even print out the card by using the “print” button.

This is one of those recipes that you can alter to suit your personal taste. If you want a stronger seasoning flavor, increase the amount of everything bagel seasoning.

Or if you like more color and sweetness, increase the amount of French dressing. If you don’t have French, you can also use Russian or Catalina. I’ve actually used both of those, and they’re just as good.

How to Make Everything Bagel Dip

There isn’t much to do when making this dip. It’s super easy to make, and it takes very little time. However, I do like to make it several hours in advance so the flavors have a chance to meld.

First, you’ll need a medium-size mixing bowl—one that is big enough for all of the ingredients but not so big everything is too spread out.

Secondly, combine the sour cream and softened cream cheese. Stir until you have a smooth, creamy consistency.

Next, add the French dressing and everything bagel seasoning.

all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl

Mix well to make sure the color and seasoning are evenly distributed throughout the dip.

You can use this as a serving bowl or transfer it to another bowl or dish.

Scoop the mixture into smaller bowls that you can place around the snack table.

Or you can offer individual bowls so each person can have his or her own bowl of dip.

If you want a little bit of heat, you can also add some hot sauce or cayenne pepper. Since I typically serve this on the same table with a super spicy dip, I typically don’t make this one hot. I like to give people options.

More Dips to Love

We like a variety of dips for chips and vegetables. For that reason, I often have several to choose from in varying colors and degrees of heat.

Here are some of our favorite dips:

Cheesy Olive Dip – This delightful blend of flavors is extremely good when served warm. I like it with crackers and different types of bread—gluten-free for me and regular for everyone else.

Spinach Dip – I’ve never seen dip disappear so fast as when I put this spinach dip on the table. People often take a tiny bit at first. But after they taste it, they typically get more dip than chip.

Zesty Dipping Sauce – This is another super easy dip that you can whip up in just a few short minutes.

Taco Dip Deluxe – When you want south-of-the-border flavor on your snack table, make a batch of this yummy dip. We enjoy it with tortilla chips.

Buffalo Chicken Dip – You cook this dip on your slow cooker, so it takes a bit more time. However, it’s worth it as soon as you see how everyone gets seconds and thirds.

Potato Chip Dip Recipes with Sour Cream – Sour cream is a versatile food and a great base for chip dip!

Chocolate Chip Fluff Dip – You’ll want to include this sweet one for dipping fruit or cookies.

Snack Table Treats

Since you’re getting your snack table in order, there are a few more things you’ll want to include. Here are a few of them:

Pepperoni Pretzel Pizza Bites – This super easy snack will also disappear quickly, so have another batch ready to go in the oven.

Deviled Eggs – You’ll likely find these delicious deviled eggs on any southern snack table for special events.

Roasted Pecans – These are so delicious to snack on, you’ll forget that they’re actually good for you!

Candied Pecans – Or you can make these yummy candied pecans on the stovetop. They’re so easy to make, and they taste amazing!
