The best chicken recipes are those that are so good you’ll want to make them over and over. In fact, many of these have been on my favorites list practically as long as I’ve been cooking.
In order to make any of my favorites lists, the dish has to taste good and be fairly easy to make. Also, my husband has to like it.
Obviously, there are some that take longer than others. But if I can assemble everything and walk away while it cooks, I consider that easy.
As a kitchen gadget junkie, I have a bunch of different ways to cook all foods, including chicken. For example, my taco soup with chicken can be cooked in the Instant Pot, in the slow cooker, or on the stove.

That brings me to one of the main reasons I love chicken. It’s so versatile. You can fry it, bake it, broil it, boil it, or grill it.
You can eat chicken with such a wide variety of side dishes. I love chicken and rice casseroles as well as chicken with a side of potatoes.
It’s also delicious served with pasta or in soup. Whether you prefer white or dark meat, eating chicken is an excellent way to get the protein you need.
