What to Serve with Buffalo Wings: 21-Plus Side Dishes and Desserts

Looking for things to serve with buffalo wings? I’ve been serving them for years, so I’ve got a list of things we enjoy when we eat them. They’re the perfect finger food that goes with a wide variety of side dishes and snacks.

Remember that you don’t have to offer a complicated menu. In fact, there are times when I simply serve Buffalo wings as a main dish with celery sticks, carrot sticks, slices of bell pepper, and some ranch dressing.

You can cook the wings yourself with your own recipe or this favorite chicken wing recipe. I’ve made this same recipe in the oven and my air fryer, and both ways are easy and turn out great results.

Several Ways to Cook and Serve Buffalo Wings

I love the fact that my air fryer uses less oil than any other type of frying, so it’s a healthier option. All you have to do is space them out in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

This even layer of food allows the hot air to flow around the chicken to uniformly cook all of the pieces.

Or if you prefer, you can purchase wings from your favorite restaurant and just make the sides at home. The best buffalo wings are the ones you like, since it’s all about personal taste.

I’ll share some ideas below. Some are basic items like blue cheese dressing, while others are sides you can make.

But nothing is difficult. I believe that your time spent in the kitchen should be fun, not stressful.

Spicy Chicken Wings

Who doesn’t love buffalo wings? They’re the perfect party food – spicy, sometimes cheesy, and always a hit. But what do you serve with them? Here are some ideas for sides that will round out your spread and make it extra delicious.

If you’re like most people, when you think of Buffalo wings, the first thing that comes to mind is spicy, finger-licking good goodness. But what do you serve with them? Here are a few ideas to get you started.

Chicken wings are the perfect game day food, whether you cook them in your air fryer, oven, or deep fryer.

I highly recommend making a couple of batches—one with lots of spice for those who like heat and another one for anyone who doesn’t like spicy food.

Fresh Vegetables and Dips to Serve with Buffalo Wings

A platter of your favorite raw fresh vegetables with a couple of dips will complete the meal in the simplest of ways.

  • Here are some veggies, finger foods, dips, and sauces you can include with minimal effort:

  • Bell pepper slices
  • Edamame
