Looking for some delicious foods to serve with ceviche?
Here are some fabulous ideas. The more dishes you offer the happier everyone will be!
What is Ceviche?
First of all, you might wonder what ceviche is. Ceviche is a healthy dish from South American that people often serve either as an appetizer or part of a complete meal.
It’s made of chopped or diced raw fish and marinated in citrus juice (usually lemon juice or lime juice) along with other seasonings to add flavor.
You can use any type of seafood that you prefer, including fresh tuna, salmon, and even shrimp. In fact, I think that shrimp ceviche is my favorite.
Marinate the raw seafood for at least 4 hours or overnight if possible. Then spice it with chili peppers, sliced red onions, cilantro, or whatever seasonings you enjoy.
If you need a clear recipe to follow, check out these ceviche recipes from Insanely Good Recipes where you’ll see more than one to pick from.
